How do I import old leads from a spreadsheet?

Importing old lead sheets can be a great way to get old contacts into future campaigns.

Log in to Follow Up Ninja

On the left menu click "Contacts"

In the drop down menu, click "Contacts"

Click the green plus button "Add Contacts"

A drop down menu will give you the option to "Import Contacts"

Click select file and choose the file/spreadsheet you want to import (note your file MUST be saved as CSV. Go to excel, File, Save As, drop down file type under file name and select CSV)

Select the data/fields you want to import (First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone and any other data you want to import)

Select "Continue" after confirming field mapping

Choose how you want The Follow Up Ninja to address contacts already in the system that are on the import

Select "Continue"

Add any tags for these contacts (e.g. Fall Fair, Open House, etc).

**note tags need to be created before import (Settings>Tags>Create New Tag)

Click "Done"
